HOW to deal with the un-expectedLife is change and change means that an old door is closing. When that happens, you don't see a new door opening - not yet. It surely will open but the time till then can feel frightening.
Change could have come to you in form of an external event - a death of a loved one, an illness, a divorce or change related to your work. The feeling of "the old is gone or your old life does not fit you any longer" yet "the new is not yet visible" may cause great suffering if it is not addressed and understood. my own pathOver the past thirty-five years, I have studied in various fields including Core Process Psychotherapy, Inquiry Based Stress Reduction - The Work of Byron Katie, Spiral Dynamics, Alexander Technique, dance and movement, music, singing, meditation and spirituality. All this training and practice allows me today to support those who are going through life transitions. I know from personal experience, how helpful it is to have somebody at one's side when change hits. When it was time for me to leave old paths, I was blessed to have wonderful mentors and teachers on my side who encouraged me and who helped smooth the process.
